Whether you are a figure skater, a hockey player or looking for cool entertainment, we offer classes for all ages and abilities. Plex – Ice will host at least two Ice Shows per year where talent, creativity and stardom can shine! These competitions and shows are great confidence builders for skaters of any age!

Children in Southern Ontario, Canada, were expected to ice skate and Debbie Allen was bitten by the skating bug at a very early age. During her younger years, Debbie skated as an amateur which including taking lessons from Olympic Champion Wally Distlemyer. As a result of this dedication, Debbie obtained her 5th Figure test, Silver Free Skate and is a Gold dancer. She also competed is several competitions over the years. Thirty five years ago, Debbie turned professional decided to share her knowledge and skills with other children through the next 19 years in Canada. Debbie was a Senior Coach at several well known figure skating clubs in central and western Canada. At the present time, Debbie is a member of the Professional Skating Association (PSA), the Ice Skating Institute (ISI) and United States Figure Skating (USFS). Debbie is also certified as an ISI Gold Judge. With a motto of ‘if you can walk, you can skate’ Debbie looks forward to teaching all ages and all levels whether it�s just for fun or for testing and competitions. Debbie, a resident of Irmo, also serves the community as a Senior Paramedic with Richland County EMS. She has been married for over 31 years to her husband Jeff, Fire Marshal for Irmo Fire District, and has two adult daughters. Amy Garris, Figure Skating Coach
Amy teaches private lessons, semi-private lessons, and group lessons. she has 7 years coaching experience and teaches all ages for recreational and competitive skating, as well as beginners up to Freestyle 6, Stroking, and Moves in the Field. Amy is a USFS Basic Skills Instructor, Member Of ISI and PSA, and an ISI Silver Certified Judge.
